UNFORTUNATE ERRAND NOT TO EMBARK
Welcome to 13/07 and the UNFORTUNATE ERRAND NOT TO EMBARK is in 2 Samuel 13/07-
"Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to thy brother Amnon's house, and dress him meat."
Tamar was the beautiful virgin daughter of King David who was sent on an errand to the house of Amnon by his father.
Amnon was the firstborn of King David, who had sexual lust for Tamar, his half sister.
Amnon had a bad friend who counselled him to pretend he was sick and asked his father to send Tamar to prepare food for him.
The evil plan was to rape Tamar after preparing the food unknown to David and Tamar.
It was David who instructed Tamar to go and prepare food for her sick half-brother in his house, not knowing the evil plan of rape.
Tamar obeyed her father and went to take care of her half-brother, not aware of the rape trap.
Tamar went innocently on the instructions of his father and was raped by her evil half-brother.
David and Tamar were undiscerning of the evil rape plan of Amnon before sending her on an unfortunate errand.
- You need the Spirit of discernment more than ever in this terrible and wicked world.

- You need the Spirit of discernment not to become a victim of sentiment and innocence.
- You need the Spirit of discernment not to send anyone or be sent on unfortunate errands.
PRAYER
O LORD GRANT ME THE SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT TO FRUSTRATE AND FOIL EVERY EVIL AGENDA AND AGENT IN JESUS' NAME.
