AUTHORITY OF THE SPOKEN WORD
Welcome to 08/09 and the AUTHORITY OF THE SPOKEN WORD is in Matthew 08/09-"For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it."
This centurion came to beseech Jesus because of his servant who was terribly sick.
Instead of allowing Jesus to stress himself by coming to his house, the centurion besought Jesus to speak the word for the recovery of the sick servant - "The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." vs 8
As a captain in the Roman army, he understood the authority of the spoken words of a superior over a subordinate.
- He understood that no subordinate officer can disobey the command of his superior officers.
- He applied his understanding of the authority of the spoken words of superior officers over subordinates to enforce compliance.
- He recognised the Lordship of Jesus that makes his words so authoritative to make sicknesses irresistibly vanish.
- He recognised the Lordship of Jesus that makes his spoken words infallible no matter the situation and circumstance.
- He recognised the Lordship of Jesus that makes his spoken words to enjoy complete obedience and perfect compliance.
His understanding and utterance marvelled Jesus to commend his so great faith and speak the word that instantaneously and incredibly healed the sick servant.
To get all your petitions to Jesus answered, you must understand the infallibility of his spoken words that are already written in his Holy Scriptures(Bible)
To get Jesus to perform his instantaneous and incredible miracles, you must understand his Lordship that makes his words irresistible.
To enjoy the very best of Jesus, you must possess and express so great faith in his words for your spontaneous and spectacular signs and wonders.

O LORD POSSESS ME WITH SO GREAT FAITH IN YOUR SPOKEN WORDS UNTO SPONTANEOUS AND SPECTACULAR SIGNS AND WONDERS IN JESUS' NAME.
