DIVINE DIRECTION
Welcome to 22/05 and the DIVINE DIRECTION TO HEAR AND ADHERE TO is in 1 Samuel 22/05-
"And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed and came into the forest of Hareth."
For the fear of Saul, David escaped from Israel to the land of Moab and kept his parent with the king till God revealed the next thing to him - "And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me." vs 3
God sent the prophet Gad to David for him to
1. HEAR GOD - "And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah"
2. ADHERE TO GOD - "Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth."
By hearing and adhering to the voice of God, David was delivered over and over again from the deadly plans of King Saul against him.
- David made himself accessible to hear the voice of God over situations and circumstances that came his way.
- David always complements his decisions and steps with hearing and adhering to what God wants him to do at the time.
- For always knowing and doing what God wants him to do, David was more than a conqueror over every battle, challenge, enemy, and problem.
- David was addicted to hearing and adhering to the voice of God because he made himself a man after God's own heart. Acts 13:22
What you need to be more than a conqueror is to always hear and adhere to the voice of God.
The voice of God is available to you through the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit.
What you need to always hear and adhere to the word of God is to become a man after God's own heart.
What you need to overcome every affliction, battle, challenge, dilemma, enemy, and frustration is hearing and adhering to God.
You must always complement your decisions and steps with hearing and adhering to the voice of God.
PRAYER
O LORD, MAKE ME ADDICTED TO HEARING AND ADHERING TO YOUR VOICE TO OVERCOME EVERY AFFLICTION, BATTLE, CHALLENGE, DILEMMA, ENEMY, AND FRUSTRATION IN JESUS' NAME.
