DIVINE STRATEGY FOR VICTORY
Welcome to 08/07 and the DIVINE STRATEGY FOR VICTORY is in Judges 08/07-
"Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand."
Ai was one of the smallest cities Israel confronted on their way to their promised land.
Despite being a tiny nation, Israel suffered their first and only defeat at the hands of Ai.
Joshua underestimated the smallness of Ai and Israel was terribly defeated.
Joshua overestimated their past victories over greater nations and obstacles for their regrettable defeat by Ai.
Joshua assumed the presence of God to be with them at all times and did not know that Achan had committed a sin that made the presence of God leave and make them vulnerable to defeat at the hands of the Philistines.
This shameful defeat made Joshua seek God afresh, who told him what was responsible for the defeat and what must be done to be undefeatable again.
Joshua followed the divine strategy of setting an ambush for the city of Ai before capturing it - "Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city"
It was in following this divine strategy and not their own assumptions, instincts, experience, intelligence and expertise that they will have victory through the LORD - "for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand."
Your serial victories over the battles of life can only be ascertained by seeking and following divine strategies.
Divine strategies are what God wants you to do to see divine results and command divine outcomes.
Divine strategies when sought and followed will make God take over your battles, challenges, enemies and problems to give you all round victories.
PRAYER
O LORD, MAKE ME AN ARDENT SEEKER AND FOLLOWER OF YOUR DIVINE STRATEGIES FOR MY ALL-ROUND VICTORIES OVER BATTLES, CHALLENGES, ENEMIES AND PROBLEMS IN JESUS' NAME.
TO BE UNDEFEATABLE, SEEK AND FOLLOW DIVINE STRATEGIES
