IRRESISTIBLE RESPONSE
Welcome to 17/05 and the IRRESISTIBLE RESPONSE TO GIVE is in 1 Kings 17/05-
"So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan."
According to the word of the LORD, the land of Israel was not to have rain nor dew for many years to come.
To overcome this drought and famine, the Lord told Elijah what to do and where to go - "Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there." vs 3,4
Elijah's response to the word of God was
1. PROMPT - "So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD" vs 5a
2. PERFECT - "for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan."
For promptly and perfectly obeying the word of the LORD, Elijah enjoyed supernatural supplies and support during the terrible famine and drought.
No matter the challenges confronting you, there is a word from the Lord to be heard for your breakthrough.
- To every word of breakthrough from the Lord, there must be prompt and perfect obedience from you.
- How promptly and perfectly you obey God will determine how much of his supernatural support, supplies, surpluses, and strength you will enjoy.
- To overcome any challenge confronting you, you must promptly and perfectly hear and heed divine instructions to enjoy divine intervention!
PRAYER
O LORD, MAKE ME ADDICTED TO HEARING AND HEEDING DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS PROMPTLY AND PERFECTLY TO ENJOY DIVINE INTERVENTIONS SUPERNATURALLY IN JESUS' NAME.
BE PROMPT AND PERFECT IN HEARING AND OBEYING DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS
